ANZEMET
Anzemet is very effective to prevent vomiting and nausea, which are developed with cancer chemotherapy or surgery. It is also blocked the actions of chemicals in the body.
Who should not take this medicine?
Patients should not take this medicine before talking to the health care providers, if someone:
- Has low levels of magnesium in the blood;
- Has a family history of congenital QT syndrome;
- Is taking a water pill;
- Has low levels of potassium in the blood;
- Is taking a drug to treat an irregular heartbeat.
- Do not take this medicine before consulting to doctor if someone is planning a pregnancy or if someone is pregnant.
- If someone is breast-feeding a baby, Anzemet is not taken before talking to the health care providers.
How should take this medicine?
- Patients should take the tablets of this medicine with a full glass of water.
- It can be taken before or after the food.
- Patients should take this drug according to directions by the doctors.
- It can store at room temperature away from heat and moisture.
What are the possible side effects of Anzemet?
- Irregular heartbeats
- Uncontrollable movements or muscle cramps
- An allergic reaction and swelling of tongue, hives, face or lips
- Problems in breathing
