ANANDRON
Anandron is also known as Nilandron in the United States. When cancer spread to other areas of the body, this medicine is used for men with advanced prostate cancer at stage D2. It is also given after surgical removal of the testicles and conjunction with LHRH.
How is Anandron given?
- Anandron is available is the form of tablet. Patients take this medicine by mouth and taken once a day.
- The quantity of this drug depends on various factors. The schedule and amount of dose of medicine will be determined by the doctor.
- This drug should be taken with or without meals at the same time each day.
- In some cases such as spinal cord metastasis, it should be begun about 5-7 days before taking the LHRH agonist.
Side effects of anandron
